when ever i have a couple programs running my computer starts beeping, i
checked the bios and i dont have the beeping set for if the cpu gets to hot
or the other alarm thing set. I was running a game and i also had a program
in the background running and it was beeping and wouldnt stop until i x-ed
out of one of them.

what i think it is is there is to much stuff using the cpu at one time but i
dont know why it beeps i never had this problem before. it just started
happening right after i replaced my motherboard but it was the same exact
motherboard that i had in before.

can anybody help me it would be greatly appreciated

The motherboard manual should have a section listing what errors/problems
will cause the case speaker to beep. If not in the manual then check the
manufacturer's web site.

The number and duration of beeps varies with the motherboard and BIOS
combination so you'll have to do your own research to figure out the cause.

the beeping is coming from the speakers not from the motherboard just to let
you guys know

Get the BEEP codes from Here

http://www.amptron.com/html/bios.beepcodes.html

Also Some M/B manufactures USE TWO FACED Tape to Attach a HEATSINK to
The Main Chipset.. This is STUPID since The Heatsink is Suppose
take the HEAT away from the CHIPSET.. ( TWO FACED TAPE is an
INSULATOR..) Feel the Heatsink and u will see it is JUST WARM, But the
Area of the M/b around the Chip Is HOT !
AMPTOR/ECS, PCCHIP all use this TAPE

In The GAMERS NEWSGROUPS they Tell u To try to Wiggle that heat sink, If
they used the tape it will Rock back and Forth,

to Repair this.. USE a HEAT GUN or HAIR dryer to Remove the Heatsink.
Then Get all the Glue and Stickyness off Both the Heatsink and the CHIP
on the M/b.. (ALHOL)

now Take SUPER GLUE ( Thick Type) and put drops on each corner of the
Chip and put the Heatsink Back on..
Restart your computer and now Feel the Heatsink, you will see it is
Warmer,, this means it is Cooling down the Chip..

You can go a step further and Buy an old 486 CPU FAN and Heat sink..
That fan will mount on the Heatsink Directly using the Screws that came
with it. ..
This method Stopped all my BEEPS and Reboots and Freezeup when playing
Games.

By the WAY.. PCCHIPS/ECS/amptron Motherboards All all Made By AMPTRON !!!

PCCHIPS And ECS Buy the Boards from AMPTRON and Reprogram the Bios
Chip to Say it is their Board
