Beep sound along with inactivity on IE

I note when I try to access a site while in IE i get a
beep and nothing happens. This even happens on
Microsoft's update page on their contact link.

Is it a settings problem?

Any help is desired
 
Empty your cache, right-click your browser icon, properties, delete files or within
IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
