Hi all

I have an Intermec on which I am developing a dotnet V2 app. At some point
during the day two members of staff may meet and decide to exchange stock.
To ensure that there is no fraud I would like the PPCs to talk to each other
and negotiate a level of stock to transfer. Eg

01) Person A enters brands + amounts of stock to transfer to Person B
02) Person B (waiting in the "Receive stock" form) gets a signal from Person
A's PPC with the data
03) Person B reads the data and accepts or rejects
04) If Person B accepts then A and B both update their DB with the stock
transfers

I am not sure if I can enable the bluetooth or not, because I think doing so
disables the serial connection and I need that for printing (although I may
be wrong). Can I do this with the infrared beaming functionality?

Does anyone have any info or links on inter PPC communications?

Yes, you can use InfraRed for that.

We are using bluetooth for printing and this disables the irDA port, is
there a way to do the same with bluetooth?
