Thanks. Wall Street Journal reports 18,000 downloads/day of Opera over
the weekend in Germany. While I'm glad MS is fixing the problem with
IE6, as primarily an Opera user I can't say I'm sorry about people
getting a look at the alternatives.

Understood. I'm willing to give up the small delay for the built in
flexibility that Opera has vs. FF's add-ons. I've come to accept
those kinds of differences as a personality thing. FWIW(!), there was
also some testing last month at http://www.betanews.com/ that showed
Opera's new engine is considerably faster than than FF and most
everything else (can't find a link at the moment).
I should add that when it comes to printing, often I switch over to FF
or IE, as that module is definitely a weak point of Opera's.
