BCM will not load and start

I have run the BCM 2003 install disk until it says installation complete.
But I have no BCM controls in the Outlook menus and no way to start it. Am I
missing something?

Hi Kane,

You have to open Outlook and run the BCM startup wizard. Did you do that?

I have the same problem. I am wondering if there are some updates missed
that would prevent it from working so am curently downloading from microsoft
site the recent upgrades to see if that will work

I have try to run the set up wizzard but I keep getting an error message
when I get to selecting or creating a new database - have tried both. Says
created in old version of BCM so needs to be converted???

Hi Kajay,

That message shows up in the following scenario:

1. You have a database created in an older version of BCM
2. You install BCM V3 and use the Create/Select Database and select the
older version of the database

Try to convert this database to the newer version.

Hi

Have downloaded the BCM updates from your web site. This time it worked
when created a new database.

However, I now I get the error message "The information store could not be
opened"????

So it still will not let me use it. Do not get any menu options for it either
