BCM Slow?

Hi,
I have a user with a DUO 2 Core processor a Gig of memory XP Pro Office
2007, it's a
pretty fast machine, everything runs good and what not but for the second
time I've installed
BCM and once I do his whole computer slows WAY down so I uninstalled it
again and
his computer runs fine. Is this an issue with BCM?

Thanks Craig

It's likely an issue with BCM. My guess as to what is happening is
that BCM and its ancillary software (the .NET CLR, sql server) has a
large memory footprint. That combined with your other software will
push the memory required to over 1 gig of ram, and Windows will start
paging memory to disk, slowing everything down.

On machines that already have applications use .NET and Sql (e.g.
Office Accounting), installing BCM increases resource consumption by a
much smaller fraction. In those cases, BCM should really only consume
resources when it is running in an Outlook session.
