bCentral Commerce mgr - FP plugin or web interface?

I use FP 2000 and Win98SE. I just signed up for bCentral -- some customers
have said that they do not want to shop w/ PayPal, which is what I use now.
My site has a single product and all I want bCentral for is the shopping
cart that they host on their secure server and the reporting system. (I do
not want to capture and send info to them - I want a turnkey system, which
may not be the lowest cost, but makes sense to me now due to time
constraints.) I've applied through them for a merchant account.

Question: Do I customize the cart pages in FP 2000 w/ the FP Commerce Mgr
plugin or do I do the customization via the web at the bCentral interface.
One person at tech support said I should use the web interface and that
using the plugin would be bad because I already have a website and the
plugin would screw up the look. A second tech person said to use the
plugin.

At my site, all I need is a button that brings up the cart with "1" in the
quantity -- and allow the shopper to increase the quant. Then, check out.

Anyone have suggestions about the best approach to get this done? Thanks.

Looks like you should use Site Manager

Thanks. That's an interesting lead. Question, though, is whether that is
current. It is dated 8/2001. There have been updates to the FP plugin
since then. And the link in the KB article "For a more inclusive list" of
issues is a bad link.
http://www.bcentral.com/help/SiteManager/FrontPageHelp/. (Since that is a
rather broad pathname versus a distinct article, IMO it would _seem_ that
it would always be good if they were keeping up on FP integration w/
bCentral.)

Anyone actually woking on the bCentral cart using FP -- or tried and
failed? Thanks.

Perhaps it is updated by this addin
