BCC showing in the email I received

I recently received an email where it shows the BCC field and the address this email has been blind copied to
When I reply to the email, the BCC recipient name is not being picked up. After I closed the message window and opened it again, the BCC is no longer showing. I have done a print screen to record this incident. This is a one time incident that makes me think twice when I want to BCC my colleague. Anyone know what is causing it

Did the sender not put anything in the TO: field? They should....some older
mail servers don't like it if TO is blank and don't know how to handle
it....

There are TO and CC field as well. The mail is from the internal corporate microsoft mail server.
