Batch import files and text

I have a finalist presentation to prepare and I would like to import
automatically a picture and text into Powerpoint. It's always the same
pattern. I can create a XML file containing the info like category,
advertiser and picture name and generate slides from this XML file.

Thanks. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I don't know of any free way to do this other than writing a bunch of code to
do the job. We have a commercial add-in that'll do it though.
