VB is not free, you may be able to pay and download from some sites. But you
would be better off getting the media.

Actually, it may be worth buying a book. Some books come with the Standard
version on the back.

VB is not free, you may be able to pay and download from some sites.
But you would be better off getting the media.

The VB.NET compiler can be downloaded for free (.NET Framework SDK).

VB Classic is not free, but there are demo versions available (VB CCE, VB
Working Model).
