Basic Question: How do I disable the flyout I see whenever I drag my mouse?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to disable the flyouts I see on my
screen whenever I drag my mouse?

It's a minor irritation, but it would be great to disable
them.

Click on START--CONTROL PANEL
(WinXP mode) Click on Printer and other hardware
(Classic Mode) Click on Mouse icon
Click on Pointer Options
Uncheck box stating "Display Pointer Trail"
Click Apply and OK
