Yes. Choose the proper barcode and locate an appropriate font. Place
the font file on all the systems which will be printing bar codes. On
the report(s) change the font on a field to use the bar code font.
Some bar codes require having *s before and after while others require
check digits.

Yes, with some help. You need a barcode format; there are several different
formats of barcode and you will probably need to get one compatible with your
barcode hardware. Most barcode readers come with instructions and fonts for
generating the needed barcode. Or, do a Google search for "barcode access
format" and investigate the numerous links.
