Banners and Borders

Just to let persons know who are having trouble with borders, etc. -- I recently had a problem with my text banners. They worked fine locally, including while previewing from my browser. But, when I uploaded, they disappeared. I tried multiple things, to no avail. Finally, I went into each page and reset the banner. In that process, I discovered that some were checked as picture, when they were actually (as above stated) text. After resetting each one, I uploaded, replacing each page, and they now work. Just to suggest, that reloading programs, etc., is probably not the solution -- more likely in something like this. P.S. I am new at frontpage -- while I like it in many respects, I find it hard to work with for reasons like this, which is similar to what I read in other's problems.

Thanks for the post.
You are correct, people have a tendency to "reinstall" when trying to fix a
"problem" when the problem is just an html or improper setting error.

Like any application of it's type, FrontPage has quite a steep "learning
curve." If you've gotten that far along you're doing great, and are ahead
of "many people."
