bad message?

we have a short email message that when you try to reply or forward, the pc
hourglasses and Outlook freezes up. You have to end up turning off the pc
and restarting.

The sender of the message has sent others that behave fine.

What could cause this?

There are no attachments in the message. The users has sent us dozens of
similar messages that do not exhibit this problem.

She sends from BankofAmerica.com

Does this also happen if you start Outlook in Safe Mode (Start -> Run ->
outlook.exe /safe)?

What version of Outlook?
What account type?
What message type?

P.S. don't end Outlook by turning off the PC; use Task Manager to end
the process.

No problems with this message when running Outlook in Safe mode.

Not sure what you mean by account type.

If it's running fine in Safe Mode, then it's an add-on, such as
antivirus, causing the problem. Disable or uninstall it to see if this
is indeed the cause.

Account type is POP/SMTP, IMAP, or Exchange Server; but I don't need to
know that any longer.
