I installed a new came a few days ago. Now it's time for my scheduled
backup, and the baclup is busily storing all the image files from the game.
Surely there must be a way to configure backup on the basis of file path as
well as file type, like there used to be under XP.

AFAIK, file backup in Vista backs up by type.
