I performed a system backup and it ran out of space. I started with 33%
memory and now have 0%. The System Restore checkpoint has dissapeared and I
want to know how to undo the backup or delete the file it was backed up to.
XP Pro, 145gb memory. THANKS!!

Your hard disk has space, memory is entirely different
The NTbackup file is I believe a *.bks file, located where you indicated in
the procedure

Using what program? Where were you putting the backup?

and it ran out of space. I started with
33% memory

Memory? Do you mean disk space? They are two very different things.

Assuming you mean disk space, do you mean that you have a hard drive with
33% of it free, and you were trying to back it up onto that same hard drive?
If so, that would be a nearly useless backup.

and now have 0%. The System Restore checkpoint has
dissapeared

What System Restore checkpoint? There are normally many of them. Have they
*all* disappeared? How do you know?

Why do think System restore has any relation to your backup issue?

and I want to know how to undo the backup or delete the
file it was backed up to. XP Pro, 145gb memory.

You mean 145GB of hard drive space. Nobody has that much memory.
