Backup

I cannot start "ntbackup." When I click on the shortcut, nothing happens. I
checked in system 32 and "ntbackup.exe" is there, but it woudn't srtart
either when I clicked on it.
Can somebody help me?

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW (see: Description of Windows XP and Windows Server

Mark,
I did try sfc /scannow last week. I had to run it many times before i could
get ntbackup work. It did run once, but I let it run in background while IO
was doing something else. Then, I had to turn off my computer, and it did not
work again. I will try scannow again after creating a restore point. I read
that scannow could alter one's setting. Can it?
