Backup won't run when scheduled

Whenever I set a scheduled backup, it appears in the Scheduler, says that
it's running but there is no tape activity and no window appears to show
that a backup is taking place. Can anyone help?

NT backup doesnt always appear, check the settings you have made, does it
work fine it u set it going manually?

Have you applied SP3 or SP4 yet, you need to.

It works fine when I start it manually and I have applied SP4. I know that
it definitely isn't doing anything because the backup I set is over 2 tapes.
I set it going at night then change tapes the next morning. When the first
tape finishes, it auto ejects. If I try the scheduler, the first tape is
still in the drive when I come into work in the morning.

What about the backup log? Does it give any clues?
