Backup not backing up

Okay, maybe I'm missing something here. I have an HP
C1553A 24X6 DAT tape library, installed in a stand-alone
server running XP SP1 and all the upgrades, and trying to
back up local and network files. The Backup runs, but
the only thing that it recorded to tape are the folders
themselves, and not the files within, which does me no
good. ANy ideas? I've checked every possible setting,
and nothing looks like it is out of line.

Do the backup logs show any errors in them?

Are you using the wizard to run the backups or advanced mode?
