I received the same message when I first tried to back up on the Home Premium
edition. Here's what happened:
I ran the wizard, picked which I files I wanted and saw drive d and clicked
it, not knowing it was the recovery drive, but it was there and I thought d
was the cd/dvd drive and didn't know it was e. It showed that a backup was
made. Where I don't know. Then I went to e and it even told me to label a dvd
with the date and disk 1. It was supposed to say how many disks it needed but
it didn't. Then when I tried to run it I received the error message "an
internal error occurred ox8007054f. I don't know what happened. Then the next
day when I go to my computer it said the back disk failed and wanted to do a
system restore. I didn't because, 1 a tech chat with Raul T at HP told me
not to do it,. that it wouldn't help. I should just ignore it, use burning to
a cd/dvd or get an external hard drive. I don't have so many files and
haven't loaded pictures yet. I didn't want to do a restore because I would
lose the bit defender security 2008 I just installed after the chat(i wanted
to do back up before installing it). He said I didn't do damage by clicking
on the D drive which is one of the choices for back up. He also said that the
first time you try to back up it does a whole system back up and I would need
to many disks. I don't think this is so.

1. any suggestions as to how to get it to work or turn it off? (the tech
wanted me to leave it alone but I don't want to get error messages. I think
it was set for 1x per week on Sundays at 2 a.m - but if I use e-drive I would
have to be there, and e drive back up gets me the above error.

2. How to I get back to the original back up wizard if I want to change the
files to back up or the time, or do I turn it off.

Please let me know if you found any solution or anyone else replying, PLEASE
HELP!
