Backup doesn't recognize that a dvd is in.

I just installed Vista Home Edition. When I try to backup my files and
insert a DVD, the system continues to tell me to insert a DVD and does not
recognize that one is already in there. Any suggestions?

hi,
-- is it a bootable disc you are creating ?if so you cant use rw dvd's to do
this but a normal backup should work with dvd's
