It's time to reinstall Windows XP on the laptop. Lotsa blue screens and
corrupted files and it's been a while. What's the best way to backup
applications like Ebay turbolister, Itunes etc. so I can reinstall them
after the format. Usually I really didn't care about them before but now I
have a lot of info to lose and would prefer an easy way to put these back on
afterwards. Backup to CD? All my saved emails I've already forwarded to
another email address I have and will retreive those that way later.

You'll need to download the installers for the programs that
you are going to re-install. As for other data, such as Favorites
and whatever's inside of the "My Documents" folder, just copy
to a disc. To back up E-mail depends on which client you use.
