backing up mail

I would like to periodically, back up my mail folders. I don't know what the
file name (s) would be or where to find them. Any help? Thanks, Ron

Go to Tools - Options - Advanced - Maintenance
click on the Store Folder... button to see where your messages are stored.

Or, you can use the File - Export function to save messages to another
location.
