Backing up into a CD Recorder ?

Can we use XP Backup utility to backing up folders and
files into a CD-R.
It´s possible or there is another way around.
I would like to know how come we do this please?

Can we use XP Backup utility to backing up folders and
files into a CD-R.

No. It will not backup to CD (the only removable devices it will accept
are tape drives and floppies), and in any case the standard burning
software does not support use as output media from programs.

You would need third party backup programs (eg BackUpMyPC from
www.stompinc.com), or back up limited size groups to hard disk, giving
files that would fit on a CD and burn those as a separate exercise.
