There isn't a 'backup' application as part of Windows that will 'back-up'
data and applications.

You can do more research on 'back-up' and 'restore' to fully understand what
I've written.

In order to have a backup of applications, one needs to be able to backup
Windows itself, thus to do that one needs to backup the entire C Drive. One
needs to buy a 3rd party application such as Ghost to be able to backup and
restore the entire C Drive.

Now if it is only the data [documents or files created by MS Word,
Quickbooks, Email etc] that you require 'duplicated' to another file; then
try Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.
