I've added a third machine to my home network and would like to duplicate my entire Quicken program - with all it's settings - on my newest machine: a WINDOWS XP Home Edition. The original program is located on a machine using WINDOWS 98 SE. Is it possible to use WINDOWS 98SE backup utility, backup the program from the 98SE machine, target a destination on the XP, then restore the program (still using 98SE?) into a new directory under MY PROGRAMS on the XP machine? If so, then I guess the next step would be to merely copy the user file of Quicken to the XP machine?
