I recently ripped about 10GB worth of .wma files to my My
Music folder. What is the best way to back these up so
that they can be restored on a new PC in Windows Media
Player? Can I use my Roxio software and simply back these
up to a data CD? I assume any restored files would then
have to all be added back to the library?

Yes. They are just files. You should also back up the album art files if
you can.

Yes

Hi Mike can you help you seem to know a fair bit about WMP?
I'm trying to convert my WMP (10) files to mp3 but every time I try I get a
nessage saying that I'm not aloud to convert WMP files to any other format.
Is there a way round this. I was Using MAGIX 2005 for the conversion?

Answered elsewhere: please don't change the subject of existing threads.

Burn a CD music disk (CDA) and then rip as MP3.
