Backing Up Accounts & Rules

RE: Outlook 2003

Hello -

I manage a number of computers running Outlook. I am really tired of having
to re-create numerous accounts and rules if I need to re-install Outlook,
create a new profile, upgrade a hard drive or recover from a crash. I ALWAYS
have PST backups but I still have to recreate ALL the accounts and rules.

I have not found any articles on this and am wondering if there a way to
back these items up to avoid this time consuming mess over and over again?

In outlook you can go to "file" / "import/Export" and choose export mail
account settings, which will let you export your accounts to a file for
importing later on. However, I'm not sure how to export rules, look aroung
in the export settings, you should be able to find something in there about
this.
