backgrounds in custom stationery

I created a custom stationery for my outlook messages. I
added "background-repeat: no-repeat" to my html code and
it veiws fine in the Internet Explorer browser. As soon
as I link it to Outlook the background image repeats. How
do I get the background image not to repeat when linked
to Outlook? I am working with Outlook 2002.
