background images

I cannot access any pictures in my backgrounds menu. The name of the pictures
are not there any more just numbers and letters. It will not allow me to
click any of them. when I change to another profile I can change for that
profile, but not for the other profile. Please help me with this stupid

Teh picture files may be currupt. Try adding a new picture to the " Windows"
file folder. Log out and try to apply the new picture. If this does noty help
You may have a spyware problem. Download Adaware SE personal (which is free).
Make sure you update to the current files, and run the scan.

If you have the names, search your hard-drives for one of the names. You
will then locate where the backgrounds are coming from.

This happened to me (under another Windows OS), when I ran some program that
renamed all my .bmp files prior to archiving in a ThumbNail file.
