Background image disappearing

I've set a background image in my FrontPage document, but when I try to send
the doc, the image disappears. How can I retain the image when I send the
doc?

Send it where?

Images are not embedded in htm files. They are references to separate
files.

Sending an htm file with images involves sending the file, and all the
images as well.
