Background graphics in slide masters

Guest

When setting up a slide master, the "omit background graphics from master" is
greyed out. To display the background graphics, i need to uncheck this for
all the slides in the presentation. to me, this appears to defeat the object
of having a master.
Does anyone one know why it is grayed out and how i can get around this?
Using ppt 2003.

Thanks

David,

The "omit" option is grayed out because you are on "the slide master"

The way it works is this.....

you put a background picture on the slide master.

you make your presentation.

if there is the odd slide that you do not what the "slide master"
information on, THEN you do a "omit background info" tick on an individual
slide.
