Hoy,

How can I change the background color from the text under the desktop
icons set to transparant. I once found it before, but I am forgotten
where to set this flag.

Can someone help me ?

Thx

Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. You can change
the background color on the Desktop tab.

Press the Windows key + Pause/Break | Advanced | Performance / settings | use drop shadows for icon labels (2nd from bottom). HTH

If you want no color behind the icon at all, i.e. having the desktop
background show behind the text right click the desktop, click properties,
click the desktop tab, click the web tab and make sure the "Lock desktop
items" option is UN checked. HTH
