background color certain days outlook 2003

I want to change the background color for certain days in the agenda from
outlook 2003. For example i want to color the background for the weekends and
the holidays grey so that when i print the monthly calander i can see
directly the free days (including weekends). I have tried the automatic
formatting and labels but they only applie to text not to the background
arcering.

Is it possible in outlook or with an external tool?

Not with Outlook and I know of no third party tool that can do this.
