I am new to using Micro Soft Outlook. I understand that you shoul dbe able
to back up your information,should you have a crash, you can resintall and
not loose your important data.

I contatced Microsoft, and they were of no help, directing me to this source
or self help guides/

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to back this on to a device or
cd so I have the information saved.

There are two ways to do this. This first is to use a utility from
Microsoft called "pfbackup". You can get it here:

Or you can simply copy the pst file (with Outlook closed) to a safe
place manually.
