I copied Quickbooks data on floppy from old computer, Windows 98 and am
trying to restore to new running Windows XP and I can't read my data on the
floppy. I have also installed Word 2000. Can anyone Help? Thanks!

Can you be a little more specific in why you can't read from the floppy?
Are you getting error messages or......?

I got this ages ago from a newsgroup (I'm sorry, but I don't know who
originally posted it), and have no idea if it works or not, but here goes:

"Do a Google search for VIA floppy contoller drivers. Microsoft used to
support Tri-mode floppy disk drivers in their previous operating systems, but
dropped support in all versions of XP except the Japanese. If you install the
Tri-mode floppy controller driver, instead of the Standard Floppy controller
driver, after rebooting, your older diskettes will be readable by XP again."
