Back up Outlook after expiry of trial version

My trial office outlook has expired. I want to back up the content. How can I
do this?

Outlook data is contained in the *.pst file, which is a hidden file.
Uninstalling Office trial has no impact on your data
You need outlook in order to read/view the data, allthough if outlook is
still installed you can Import your mail via Outlook Express or Windows Mail

Thanks DL. I have purchased 2007 Outlook. Will the files automatically be
moved once I download the software and how can I create a back up just in
case ( the Import/Export is greyed out)

You don't use import/export at all. That function is there to transfer data
to and from non-Outlook applications.
Do a search for your pst file (default name Outlook.pst - you will have to
enable hidden files in your search) and just make a copy of it with Outlook
closed. That's all you need to do to backup your Outlook data.

When you install Outlook, it should automatically pick up both your mail
profile and the pst file.

Import/Export is *never* the way to backup
With outlook closed, search for *.pst (enable search to include hidden) then
simply copy the files to another location eg Documents.
Uninstall any trial first, reboot, then install from cd, Outlook should
connect to your old stuff
PS there is a free Outlook Backup addin on MS Outlook site
