How do I back-up files in Windows XP ?
I need to take the system to factory defalt settings!

Easist way (providing that you've got a place to save it) is the Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard. You can find it by going to Start...All
Programs...Accessories...System Tools...Files and Settings Transfer Wizard)

You can also try the Microsoft backup tool - see the Help Center for info on
it.

There's also several good, free backup utilities on the web. Search google
for SyncBackSE and Cobian Backup - I use SyncBackSE..

Finally, I also use Acronis True Image for fast backups of my entire hard
drive. Unfortunately it's not free - about $50 - but it's the fastest
solution for my needs.
