Back Button non-functioning

Suddenly, I can no longer back up from web page to web page via the back
button. In addiron when I click the drop-down aroww beck to the back button,
I see the recent pages listed, however clicking on them doesn't take me to
the respective pages.

The back button in MS Outlook works fine, though. Any ideas as to how I can
restore the function of the back button in IE 6.0?

Your Tif index may be damaged or too large.
Remove it and a new one will be created.

Delete/Empty Temporary Internet Cache completely
