It would seem that Mr Fussy's reasoning is that ignoring all comments,
good (haven't seen any) and bad is the best way to achieve what he wants -
whatever that is.
It looks as if (for whatever reason) he absolutely refuses to go away. I get
an image in my mind of an old P.C. in a dark corner of a psychiatric
institution, habitually monopolised by a strange little soul in a world of
his own, left to get on with it by the staff in default of any better
solution to his problems.
Given that a post by A.A. always provokes a waste of bandwidth, and that
most of us have better things to do, why don't we try ignoring hime to
death?

I'm checking for header consistency to see if these aren't forged. If they
turn out to be from him, I'm sending spam reports to both his ISP and his
server provider. I invite everyone else to do the same.

I've just killfiled him.

He's not writing one bit of any of these programs, he's just nicking them
from places such as: www.vbforums.com and www.planet-source-code.com then
sticking his name to them with the "acquires" in an attempt to be able to
stirp out the actual authors comments and copyrights.

You don't handle spam by treating the symptoms. At least, I don't.

I figured he was a useless "programmer" and he can continue being
useless for all I care. It's the crapflooding in every topic that even
remotely relates to his programs I object to.

He's been asked several times to cease the carpet-bombing of this group,
but so far he's been completely oblivious to the complaints.

Interesting. His host probably isn't too keen on copyright infringement
either. Got any direct links to files where he's done this?

A prime example is this antivirus program, which he has nicked from;

That url doesn't lead anywhere in my browser. Just to a search page at
planet-source-code.

A tip for you, put these things < >around a long url to prevent the line
from wrapping or becoming unusable in our newsreaders.

But that url still doesn't lead me to a program even though I fixed the
wrapping.

And couldn't you give us the url to Fussy's program where he is using this
code too, so we can see what he has done with the code and the
documentation?

R

Okay, but where is the babya version?

I have searched the web and can only find his announcement that he has
"acquired" an antivirus program, the babya antivirus program is not
available anywhere where I can find it.

But he has so many links on the web (13000) that it may lurk somewhere.

I want to know what he has done with this program, and how do you know he
hasn't actually "acquired" the right to do what he has done?

That url doesn't lead anywhere in my browser. Just to a search page
at planet-source-code.

That's because it line-wrapped.
A tip for you, put these things < >around a long url to prevent the
line from wrapping or becoming unusable in our newsreaders.

Most often people forget. It's all about repetition, really. Once you
do it often enough you forget. If you do it the right way all the
time... then you do it correctly without thinking :)
But that url still doesn't lead me to a program even though I fixed
the wrapping.

Ahhh... yes it does lead to the correct link. It leads to Antivirus
2004 (3.0) by Cyber Chris. If I copied it it would just get wrapped
by my PGP though.
And couldn't you give us the url to Fussy's program where he is
using this code too, so we can see what he has done with the code
and the
documentation?

The thing that I ponder is... okay, he's "acquired" all these
programs. Well, wait, has he actually? Is there any real proof? But
secondly look at his own words... He isn't even sure if he's acquired
or is just licensing software programs when he makes his posts. On
top of this he's obviously advertising this before anything is even
official. I guess for a 14 yr old I can sort of understand this but
it's already been pointed out to him that he shouldn't. So, he's
pretty dense and if he doesn't watch his step someone might just get
upset when he claims to be acquiring their software when the fact
is... he hasn't.

Anyway, back to this program. Okay, say he has acquired it. Would
anyone trust the program? It's one thing to program a notepad
alternative or even a shell program but now we're talking about an
antivirus program which needs virus signatures. Is he now an expert
in that area? Who in hell would use this program?

I would never use a Babya product as it is because: 1. they look
amateurish to me, 2. I don't like being spammed into using a
program, and 3. quite simply there are better programs out there. 14
years old or not he's being a total idiot and being only 14 years old
is no excuse to be an idiot.

Having said all that I've said I will also note that I have watched
all the threads on this... person. Yes, his self-promotion is really
really poor and irritating. His professionalism is lacking,
obviously, since he advertises things that aren't even official. I
have to agree with numerous other posters... Those people posting
fake/joke/spoof acquisition posts really aren't helping at all. In
the end it is just spam, creates more talk about what everyone
already pretty much agrees on, and frankly, one or two jokes was
enough... now it just drops those posters doing it down to Fussy's
level.

Anyway, just my two cents. Now I'll just go back to reading now and
then.

Somebody accused him of something, not specifying exactly what, and then I
wanted to know more exactly what it was he accused him of doing.
