Avoid manual slides

Hi,
I have about 200 pictures that need to be added to 200 presentation slides
i.e. each slide should contain one picture. Is there any way to do this with
automation without having to manually embed the pictures in each of the
slides. Thanks in advance.

For PowerPoint 2002/XP and above, you can use Insert > Picture > PhotoAlbum
to do so. There are some drawbacks though, such as you can't crop the
pictures since they are inserted through autoshapes. You can also use vba to
insert the pictures.
