Normally it's because you are not using the right codecs
to run the video. In easier terms if you try opening a
quicktime video or real player video in Windows Media
Player you will only get the sound and NO video. What type
of video are you trying to open? More importantly what is
the extension. For example: Real Player end in .rm,
Quicktime ends in .qtw, Media Player plays .mpg,mpeg,etc..
