Hi all. I just updated my AVG and the update file is dated 9/1/04 so I
get an error from AVG saying my system date is off. Did they just
release the update a day early or am I stupid? I am located in central
USA and the date here last time I checked is 8/31/04.

Might it be the time-zone difference?

If they timestamped and released and it at 00:00 GMT, 9-1-04, it will
appear to have been released between 17:00 and 20:00 (5-7pm), 8-31-04,
depending on time zone.

Now that it's actually 9-1 here in the US, your problem should be
solved.

I got that figured out myself. About the time difference. But I
e-mailed Grisoft Tech just to check and they confirmed the time
difference thing. I was impressed with their quick reply. Took about
15 min. Thanks to for your help.
