Averaging number of days

I have a very simple database that simply houses company name, date ordered
and item ordered. What would be the simplest way to get the average number
of days in between each order? Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Do you have some sample records and desired output?

Wouldn't the average number of days be:
=DateDiff("d", Min(OrderDate), Max(OrderDate))/Count([OrderID])
