average if with time and date

Hi all

I have file with temperature values for the period of a month and temperature recorded every 10 minutes. I have to calcutate the average day and night temperature for all the period. The dataset look like this

date time temperature
8-5-2010 00:00:00 12.1
8-5-2010 00:10:00 12.4
8-5-2010 00:20:00 12.3
.
.
.
.
8-5-2010 23:40:00 12
8-5-2010 23:50:00 11.7

Any idea how to do it?It is fine if I ll get the answer for english excell but the danish version would appreciate also.
