AV software permissions

I have XP pro SP1. I use McAffee. When I log on to "Mike" who has
administrative permissions. McAffee loads. When "administrator" logs on
McAfee will not load. Some error message cannot install check disc space,
permissions, etc. Also any limited user gets the same message. The only
user that McAfee loads on is "Mike". This severly hampers XPs security
features, since "Mike" is the only user that can safely use the machine.
Any ideas?

The McAfee startup instructions are probably in HKEY-Current_User . . . Run;
if you move them to HKEY_Local_Machine . . . Run that should do the job.
When the software was originally installed you may have been given the
opportunity to set it up for the logged-in user only or for all users. The
safest way to deal with this might be to reinstall and choose the all users
option. HTH
