autoupdater not working

I set the autoupdater and scheduled scan. The message
says its updated to the settings, but for some reason it
is not keeping the settings, therefore not updating or
scanning. Any suggestions? My laptop is working fine,
just the desktop.

Try an update install:

Start, Control Panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, Change,
Update.
