AutoText still exists as one of the gallery elements of the new
Building Blocks. Building Blocks can be stored in a *specialized* (for
lack of better term) template located at
C:\Documents and Settings\~Accout Name~\Application
Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\Building Blocks.dotx or in the
Normal.dotm or in the document template. All this is good as AutoText
can still be applied using VBA. What I haven't figured out is how to
transfer AutoText or better yet Building Blocks from one template to
another.
The Developer Tab, Templates, Organizer opens the familiar organizer.
It now has only two tabs vice the familiar four. While I understand
(haven't yet accepted) why the Toolbars tab is gone, I don't understand
why there is no "Building Blocks" tab.
Does anyone know a way to tranfer building blocks between templates and
if it doesn't exist does anyone know why?
