Autotext and text form field

We have some forms that are locked down and have a lot of text form
fields. Is there anyway to use autotext inside these?
 
I believe you will have to temporarily unprotect the document when
inserting. You may want to ask in a programming newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.word.vba.general for assistance with this.
