I am trying to get Autostreamer to work but it doesn't recognize my Windows
installation disk. This is the Gateway Operating System Windows XP home
disk (pre SP1). Autostreamer finds the D drive but doesn't give the disk a
checkmark or find the proper windows files.

Thank you.

Do you have an I386 folder on the CD?

If so, try downloading SP1 and and slipstream that first. Alternately,
find a friend with a generic OEM CD for the same era, Pre-SP1, and
remove all of the gateway added files.

That is because your Gateway disk may be just a Restore Disk - an image
of the operating system and not the operating system itself. See these
